The annual Stomatology Azerbaijan exhibition is the only specialized event of the kind in the region. • Over 400 health care facilities have been constructed or refurbished in Azerbaijan during the past five years. Work on equipping them to international standards continues to takes place regularly.

• Budgetary expenditure in the healthcare sector amounted to AZN 483,425,000 (US $612 million) in 2010.
• This budget will be increased to AZN 600 million (US$760 million) by 2013
